#1 - Proof of Identity: a color copy (scan / or photo) of a valid passport or another official identification document under your name (e.g. driver's license, identity card, electoral card, etc). The document must be issued by government authority and must be valid at the time of provision. Please note that for non-EU/EEA residents provision of a passport is mandatory.

#2 - Proof of Residence document: a recent utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas, water, landline phone, Internet and/or cable TV connection, bank account statement) dated within the last 3 months and confirming your name and registered address.

Note: Please be informed that Proof of Identity and Proof of Residence cannot be the same document!

Proof of identity documents we accept include:

• Passport (mandatory for Non-EU/EEA residents)
• National ID card (Only for EU/EEA residents)
• Photo driving license (Only for EU/EEA residents)
• Electoral Card (Only for EU/EEA residents) 

If you are providing an ID card or Driving license, we will need to see both the front and back of the card. (Please provide a photocopy of both sides of the document)

Please note that the Proof of identity document must meet the below criteria to be accepted:

1. The copy must be a high-quality color photo or scan of the document
2. The document shall not be cropped (a full copy is required)
3. If you are providing an ID card or driving license, we will need to see both the front and back of the card.
4. The document must be valid at the time of provision
5. The document must be issued by the government

The document must show the below information:

• Document number
• Your photo
• Your full name
• Your date of birth
• Your signature
• Issue date and issuing authority
• An expiration date
• The full machine-readable zone (the two lines of letters and numbers at the bottom of the document) if present

The full name and date of birth must match the details on your AMP Global account. If any details do not match, please contact the AMP Global Customer Service team to have your details amended.

If your document is not accepted, it could be for a number of reasons. These can include:

• Low quality of the photograph/scan
• The image might be obscured by the light reflection
• The copy might be cropped
• The document has already expired
• The details of the document do not match your AMP Global Account details
• The document has not been issued by a government authority (we do not accept non-government issued documents such as student/ employee cards)

• Bank/Credit Card statement
• Utility Bill (Gas/ Electricity/ Water)
• Landline phone bill
• Television services bill
• Internet bill
• Tax statements or local authority tax bill
• Current driving license ( shall not be accepted if already used as Proof of Identity)

Note: (screenshots from desktop, private invoices from eg. Amazon, etc will not be accepted)

Please note that the Proof of Residence document must meet the below criteria to be accepted:

• The copy must be a high-quality photo or scan of the document
• The document shall not be cropped (a full copy is required)
• The document must be issued within the last 3 monthsfrom the time of provision
• The document must show the below information:

• The issue date
• Your full name
• Your full residential address (PO. BOX or business address is not accepted)
• A logo and/or full name of the issuer

The details (including name and address) on the document provided must match your AMP Global account. If any details do not match, please contact the AMP Global Customer Service team to have your details amended.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT:

• Documents more than 3 months old
• Address in the form of a PO. Box
• Mobile phone bills
• Invoices (no once-off invoices like medical accounts, invoices from Amazon, etc.)
• Bad quality copies
• Bills issued by Private Insurance Companies

Note: Documents with missing address, name, or issue date will not be accepted!
